Certified in Sports Medicine Acupuncture, Lymphatic Drainage, and Biodynamic Cranial Sacral Therapy, Melisa brings a deep understanding of the body and a precise, knowledgeable approach to every session. She also serves as a Surveyor for the Canadian Massage Therapy Council for Accreditation, reflecting her dedication to professional excellence. Senior Hairstylist

With over 20 years of experience behind the chair, Jeanine Legare is a seasoned Senior Stylist known for her expertise, care, and calming presence. She specializes in long hair colouring and styling, creating beautiful, personalized looks while maintaining the health and integrity of the hair. Jeanine also cherishes the relaxing moments of each appointment, especially during shampooing and conditioning, where she focuses on providing a soothing experience that allows her guests to fully unwind. Her goal is for every client to leave feeling comfortable, confident, relaxed, and genuinely cared for. Having previously owned her own salon in Nelson, she brings both artistry and business experience to her work, and she is thrilled to be back in Nelson working with Aveda. Jeanine warmly welcomes both returning and new clients and looks forward to continuing to build meaningful, lasting relationships within the community.

Caydance Goes is a new talent hairstylist, graduating in 2024 with her Red Seal in Hairdressing and continuting her optional second year in hair design at Selkirk College this fall. Caydance is fashion forward, high energy with her own unique, bold style with a love a vidid colours. She thrives on creating looks that feel fresh, personal, and full of character, always tailoring each cut to reflect their guest’s unique vibe. For Caydance, the salon experience should never feel routine or boring—it should be engaging, collaborative, and fun.

Linda Varey

Massage Therapist

Linda is a recent graduate of the Massage Therapy Program at the Kootenay Columbia College here in Nelson. She is apprenticing under Melisa Beyers, RMT, as she awaits her registration with the College of Massage Therapists of BC. Linda is passionate about massage and absolutely loves Nelson. She has been here for three years, 2 years in school, and is looking to build her clientel and help with an pain, injuries, and general health care.
